My first memory of Bigfoot was watching the film ‘Harry and the Hendersons’ as a child and ever since I have been hooked on all things Sasquatch. Later in life when I was trekking in the Himalayas I heard many stories about the mythical Yeti and was fascinated by the belief of the local nepalese people. The legend is so strong there is even a remote Buddhist Monastery with the supposed scalp of a Yeti on display. Reports of sightings and evidence that has proven inconclusive have grown the myth even further over the years with the legend himself David Attenborough stating he believes in its existence. When I first started making beard oil for myself I knew my childhood obsession would make the perfect mascot and hence Bigfoot Beards was born. I have a strong passion for nature and being in the wilderness and want my oils to evoke memories and feelings of the great outdoors. I hand make all the beard oils myself in London. I purposely choose essential oils that have specific properties combined with a mix of Jojoba, Avocado and Hemp for the carrier oil to help hydrate your skin without blocking your pores or being overly greasy. My goal is to create a beard oil that moisturisers yet also smells great and helps keep your beard looking as luxurious as Bigfoots.
